Although green tea comes with lots of health benefits, it is not a replacement of the water we require every day. In order to keep your body healthy and hydrated you need to drink over 1.5 litres of water a day. Although it is better for you to drink plain water, there are also alternatives that you can drink to balance your body fluids:

  6. Herbal tea

One of the benefits that is favoured by many is that it can aid in the process of weight loss, water will also assist in weight loss if you drink enough as it helps the digestion system to move quicker and require less food.

One of the other benefits that water has is that is can prevent you from getting headaches. 72% of general headaches are caused by dehydration, this can be easily prevented by drinking water throughout the day. When exercising it is easy to become dehydrated and get a headache, in order to prevent this you must drink even more water to maintain a comfortable and healthy lifestyle.
